Management Team

Filippo is a board-certified medical doctor with a PhD in Pharmacology and brings more than 20 years of diverse academic and industry experience in translational medicine, clinical and laboratory research.

Prior to Enthera, Filippo was a medical leader in Roche early development in Basel, leading global cross-functional teams for several assets, in both Immunology and Infectious diseases, from Entry into Human to Phase 3 transition. Filippo was accountable for the clinical development of small molecules, large molecules/biologics and antisense oligonucleotides.

As a member of the Roche Disease Area Leadership, Filippo worked on due diligence teams and provided the medical vision to help asset development, matching patients’ unmet needs with clinical development feasibility.

Before joining industry, Filippo co-founded two start-up companies and was scientific board member of an Italian biotech SME. As an academic, he published more than 80 scientific papers in high impact journals.
